Speaking of Apple’s Music app, in MacOS Catalina the company split up iTunes into three distinct apps — Music, TV, and Podcasts. If you’re looking to share an iTunes library, you’ll find. If you have multiple iTunes libraries, it feels like as if there are two different computers with different iTunes accounts on them. Having different iTunes Libraries allows to separate each person’s movies, music and applications, and they won’t be added to each other unless you intentionally copy files to that library. In the iTunes app on your PC, choose Edit Preferences, then click Sharing. Select “Share my library on my local network.” Select the items you want to share. To require users to enter a password before they can see your shared items, select “Require password,” and enter a password. ITunes Library has all the data about your play counts, playlists, and all other stuff that iTunes reads to know about your music. Without there's nothing on your iTunes programme even when your files are in the iTunes Music folder. ITunes Music Library.xml is for other programmes like the iLife suite.
