The Dungeon Siege 2 Update 2.2 update patch contains performance enhancements and fixes. It can be applied to the original unpatched version of the game, or a copy of the game patched to 2.1. All fixes from the 2.1 patch are included in this new update. According to Microsoft, the Dungeon Siege 2 Update 2.2.

• Download the Dungeon Siege Collection “offline backup setup” file (s) into your (root) download folder. Go to the library server tab and select the game you want to install and click “Install”. Portingkit will create the wrapper and locate your setup file in your download folder. The installation of the game will start, run.

About This File

These are hex-edited executables for the retail (patched to 2.3) and Steam versions of Dungeon Siege 2. It should fix the missing cursor when playing fullscreen on Windows 10 v1703 or later.
The only downside is that it creates a bug when playing in windowed mode where the camera rotates way too fast when using middle-click (see https://steamcommunity.com/app/39200/discussions/0/1643164649220168122). Just use your original executable if you wish to play in windowed mode.
